Yom Yom Game Development: Metaverse

This project was a collaboration between SCADpro and Red Kulture

Project Overview:

This project was developed in collaboration with SCADpro and Red Kulture. The goal was to bring the character Yom-Yom to life through an immersive and interactive game experience. My responsibilities included concept design for game development, visual storytelling through a comprehensive process book, and the creation of graphic elements and environment designs using Unreal Engine Fortnite.

I had the original idea of including "Central Park" to the game as a change of scenery from the buildings since it is set in New York City. The team liked my idea and decided to move forward with it for the final game environment. Above are my original idea for the map layout and below are the progress and improvements made from the original idea.

Maze Iterations

Below are the original maze designs I created for one of the challenge areas. It started as a complicated maze and I decided to create a more simple approach for it to be easier for the Game Development Team to recreate.

Concert Stage Design

I did a concept illustration of the concert stage as well as the concert layout.

The team wanted to utilize assets already in UEFN to be used for the concert stage. I created a breakdown of list which include the assets in UEFN that can be used to create the concert stage.

Process Book

I was also in charge of the process book. I designed the pages using Adobe InDesign.
